For all my life
I was searching outside
For guidance
Someone to hold me
Support me
Give me green light
Say I’m up to scratch
That I’m ready
To walk my path
Finally I realized I was looking wrong way And eventually found My amazing grace
She lives in me
I am her
I’ve come to understand
I don’t need others
To approve of me
Give me permission
To live my dreams
Oh what a release!
Strong and capable
With love as my guide
I’m not afraid to shine
The eternal blaze
That is within me
It’s ready to be seen
Heart open wide
